^Taper's Notes RE Mic Location: fwiw, the mics were clamped on a pole at the front of the lighting board, which was directly FO(sound)B in the most prime spot (which was also the reserved VIP Section). The poles were there to support tarps over the Lighting Board if it rained (which it didn't for P & F). Though there was some chatter in this VIP section, perhaps more so than the OTS at times, this was like being in the 10th row versus the 30th row, where the OTS started (and red rocks is all deep & tall rows) and hence the sound of the recording has to be among the best AUDs made.

If you love Kimock and String Cheese, get this show. It's on the level of the April '99 "Phil and Phriends" shows at the Warfield. 1999, the best year for Phil post Dead. Spectacular show!!!

i'm not particularly into the phil stuff. A kind trader laid this one on me, and I do think it's a very well played and jammed show.

The guys play off of each other real well. Playin' gets a nice reading, and I liked Kimock's instrumental Tangled Hangers...

The sound is pretty nice...just like being there...

well worth a download
